I’m a graphic designer with 3 years of experience; I’m currently working at Vertex Education in Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor's in art, focusing on Graphic Design. During my time there, I interned for the Office of Sustainability and Event Management Center.
Graphic design is my first passion in life. It’s been a privilege to support the community with everything I do. I’m honored to have my creative career revolve around education and environmentalism. I’m excited to see what lies in store for my future, and maybe even work with you!
Skills/Niches
As a designer, I have a diverse set of skills. However, these are the things I’m passionate about - the things that fascinate me and make me fall in love with my job over and over again.
Icons
Simple yet challenging, icon design has always been one of my favorite things to design. Need a complex set of icons quickly? I’m your girl! From simple social icons to icons representing entire event themes, I love executing something legible and visually exciting for the viewer.
Illustrations
Hand-drawn illustrations are always worth the extra work for me. They bring personality to my work and help me connect with a viewer more directly. Bringing sketches to life and animating my drawings has been a fun skill to learn. While I’m still refining my skills, the product speaks for itself.
Spreads
From magazines to digital packets, full-page layouts are difficult to execute. They require the ability to see the project as a whole while still focusing on individual assets. I don’t often get the opportunity to design full-page layouts, but when I do, time flies!
